Rosie is currently Managing Director of Ballboys. She is a graduate from Kings College London where she trained as a chartered physiotherapist. Following a clinical career she went on to study public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has a passion for all things health, and her wealth of experience working in the NHS, charities and sporting world have given her an insight into the barriers, and opportunities that exist to getting young men talking about their health, and in the case of testicular cancer, getting more hands on with their health.
Sam graduated from Northumbria University where he studied sports management. In 2005 he co-founded Star Management Signings; a successful and reputable football agency representing players around the world. As well as working in the sporting world Sam also helped to set up Star Financial Systems, a trading software company based in the City of London. He shares his time between these two companies as well as giving lots of input in his role as Trustee. In his spare time Sam is dedicated to keeping fit and is passionate about cars and motorbikes. If he’s not working he can be found in a car, on a bike, in the gym or spending time with Coco and Louis, his two Russian Blue cats! Sam’s became involved with Ballboys as like many people he has loved ones that have been affected by cancer. He endeavours to use his background and skills in this role to increase awareness of testicular cancer amongst young men everywhere, and believes that no matter how small a part you play, it can make a huge difference in saving lives.
With both a legal and accounting background Kevin worked for five years with the Audit Commission becoming an Assistant District Auditor in London, after which he moved into financial services sector, first as a regulator with what is now the FCA, and then moving into the industry itself. He became CEO of four successful retail brokers three of which he co-founded, one based in Australia. He also co-founded and is still a director of Trading Compliance Ltd in 1997 which offers regulatory consultancy services to the industry. In 2007 he helped set up and became CEO, now Chairman, of Star Financial Systems which provides trading, middle and backoffice software systems for international retail brokers.
Kevin’s goal is to now help Ball Boys in their mission - to educate young men that testicular cancer is very curable caught early but extremely aggressive if not detected in time - by ensuring the charity is transparent and accountable to all those who help fund and work hard to deliver that message. He brings to the charity his extensive experience of corporate governance gained from both founding and managing international businesses as well from his roles in public sector audit and financial services regulation.
